It's all over the media, Black Journalist Tavis Smiley is under attack for criticizing Obama.
or better stated, Obama Wave Stuns Tavis Smiley.

Just because Tavis Smiley says he has received death threats does not mean it is true. I take his comments with a grain of salt.
Quite candidly, someone may have been trying to get in touch with him and called his moms house. He may have also got insulted with that, and is now saying even his mother is getting phone calls. I take what Tavis says at face value. Tavis is a book seller, and is proving himself to be a Clinton kiss up. His "Executive Decision" to not allow Sen. Barack Obama's wife to speak at "HIS" event, shows me that it is "His" event."
If Tavis had reached out to previous participants of "his event, " or did an on-line survey on "His" website, I'm sure that the overwhelming majority of participants would say, Let Michelle Obama speak on behalf of her husband. But that is not what his self serving, black self hating, echo told him to do. He wanted Barack to come kiss his ring, just like so many other alleged black leaders want him to do. I'm glad that there are many non-politically correct sisters and brothers that are calling Tavis on it.

Democratic presidential contender Sen. Barack Obama speaks at a Texas rally after winning Wisconsin. (Reuters)
Its interesting that The Washington Post recently noted, "Obama now has such a lock on the loyalties of African Americans -- 84 percent of the black vote in Alabama, 87 percent in Georgia, 84 percent in Maryland, and on and on -- that the black vote is no longer contestable.
Which brings us back to the dilemma facing some of Clinton's high-profile black supporters -- those with titles and constituencies of their own. They are feeling some kind of crazy pressure. Last Friday, about 25 of them held an hour-long conference call to discuss what one described as an effort to "pester, intimidate, question our blackness" for not supporting Obama."
AAPP: Yes, I personally call some self hating blacks - negroes, black self haters, wannabes, traitors and other things too. The fact of the matter is blacks in America have a history of having negroes, wannabes, haters, traitors, and people who have sold out our communities.Ask any former Black Panther, ask any black political prisoner in America or abroad, ask any black folk who where forced out of major cities throughout America, if they were sold a bill of goods, many times self appointed black leaders, like Tavis who sold them down the drain, yes, black self haters, wannabes, haters and traitors. While at the same time most people stayed quiet because it was politically correct to challenge.
Robert Johnson of BET fame is a self hating, traitor, sell-out, negro. Anyone who says Bob Johnson is a great man, is a negro that is out of his or her mind. Bob Johnson is the ultimate sell out. Former UN Ambassador Andrew Young is a Walmart lackey, who has also has turned out to to be a disgrace. The way he disrespected black women by saying Bill Clinton has had sex with more black woman than Obama. Ouch! Is anyone listening? Tavis Smiley like Julian Bond is becoming just another lackey for the Clinton's. Yes I said it.
Through our history there have been Negroes who are nothing less that black self hating traitors, who have joined others by sucking the life blood of our communities. Whether it be political traitors (acting black and working with others on the gentrification of urban communities through gentrification initiatives). Self haters who could care less about their own people. Yes, there have been revolutionaries who joined the fight for freedom even before the Boston Massacre. From Jamestown to black wall Street, there were blacks that fought the good fight, build education systems and economic opportunities for our own, then there were black folks who were stripped of their identity and self and disgraced themselves and there people.
This blogger, will call out political traitors, haters, and Negroes who are more interested in self promotion than self uplift. I have paid my dues 50 times over to be able to do this. I have never been politically correct, and candidly could care less if someone disagrees with my opinion or observations. Maybe it's time for Tavis smiley to start hating on Obama. Maybe it's time to Celebrate African-American history now in the making. But that would be to easy for Tavis, he wants Obama to kiss his ring first. Check out what other bloggers are saying.

Funny, I was just thinking how this blog has become the "Attack Hillary in support of Barak Obama Blog."
The blogs publisher supports Obama and has a certain disdain for Billary.
80-90% of black voters, thus far support Obama. Don't expect anything different at this blog.
I agree with you about tavis smiley but let's go any further.
The Black Star Project, African American institutions, black politicians, black minister leaders and African American Grand standers are the reasons that black boys are extinct.
African American institutions, black politicians, black minister leaders and African American Grand-standers do absolutely nothing to salvage our young black boys but whine, moan, complain, grandstand and wait for someone one else to become the dead martyr.
Men such as Tavis Smiley, Phillip Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Rev. James Meeks, Bishop Larry Trotter from Chicago, Bishop Eddie long from Georgia, along with other faith based ministers have sold the futures and lives of young black boys in exchange for cheap publicity, government welfare and grandstanding.
African American American Institutions such as the Du Sable Museum, Operation Push and The National Urban league cast the shadows of traitors, cowards and grand-standers.
The Black Star Project, N.A.A.C.P., Operation Push, Du Sable Museum, The National Urban league, and the Southern Christian leadership Council lack vision, insight and courage.
African American institutions believe that holding festivals, talk-a-thons, weak press conferences, seminars and charitable give aways will be conceived as evidence to convince the public at large that there is a movement ongoing to save young black boys.
African American institutions and black churches don't relate to the young black boys of today because they are afraid of young black boys.
The black leaders and black institutions of today would rather spend their, time ,money and valuable resources competing with each other for the "which one will get the oldest black institution award"
The young black boys of the 21st century were born in the era of MTV and computers while the black leaders and institutions I speak of are stuck and rotting on a dead, decayed, fossilized, civil rights tree of once upon a time.
Consider this:
Most young black boys know how to operate a PlayStation game console. Try adding up the black men over 30 that are computer literate enough to engage the knowledge, interest and know-how to role model or even entertain a young black boy.
The Black Star Project seeks 100 men to read to young black boys but yet they themselves can't or don't read. The Black Star Project heralded with fanfare their strategy to create role models for young black boys by devising their lame "Fathers walk your son to school day"
Rev. James Meeks pastor of "House Of Hope" announced in a televised sermon that his church's mission was accomplished because they had created volunteer services and giveaways including creating a "basketball team" for young black boys while lamenting at the same time that young boys needs to know more than how to play "basketball."
Bishop Eddie Long despite his mega church and enormous membership sits deathly quiet while his home state of Georgia goes on lock down with white flight and economic segregation.
Black institutions hide out while black leadership stick their heads in the sand or look the other as young black boys in Mississippi go into the Harrison County jail and come out dead.
Chicago Bishop Larry Trotter in his response to a 16 year old black boy getting shot to death on a Chicago public bus rides the bus the very next day and sing slave songs along the bus route.
Tavis Smiley and Third World press promote the Covenant with Black America while the criminal justice covenant cries out for criminal justice.
Black leaders complain because today's black boy's have no role models and yet they stand before the public eye with their stomachs hanging out, slouching, limping and totally out of shape.
Black churches in conjunction with The National Urban league, The Du-Sable Museum, Operation Push and black ministers/leaders spend their time, money, resources, energy and efforts, blaming the government, parents ,schools and anybody else they can point a finger at.
Black churches and black institutions spend their time, money, resources, energy and efforts helping to empower black women, themselves and anyone else except young black boys.
Well, here's one of the 10-20% that supports hillary. Guess I'm just an uncle tom.
I don't think that Tavis want's him to kiss his ring" he wants him to do what he has asked every candidate to do- SPEAK DIRECTLY TO BLACK PEOPLE. JUST LIKE HE DID TONIGHT TO THE LATINO IN TEXAS.
This is hard because we know that Barack must appeal to ALL Americans but it's getting hard because it might become that OUR HOPE is being used against us. It is African Americans that placed Barack in this position at the expense of our long term supporters (the Clinton's) yet every time Barack is asked a question by a Black person ABOUT HOW ISSUES AFFECT Black PEOPLE he distances himself so far from the "Black issue" that it feels like he is shrugging off the questions as if they are not valid, much like a response that we get from the Republican Party,. When Hillary always has, and always will answer us specifically, individually and sincerely. Yet, tonight we saw Barack being very specific about addressing LATINO issues, aren’t there any BLACK PEOPLE IN TEXAS? I know that the debate was hosted by Univision but was it the LATINO AMERICAN DEBATE?
Black people- I know many of you (us, although I am a Hillary supporter) do not want to admit so you convince yourself that you are not voting for Barack because he is Black, but if you get real with yourself you know you cannot pin point any issues that he has fully communicated. It looks like WE have officially boosted him through the Democratic process, but DO NOT expect anything more from him than you would have received from any other President for your efforts. He has already told you that he is not running as "The Black President". Therefore that translates to me as STATUS QUO, business as usual. In order to see change in your neighborhoods you are going to need to GET INVOLVED and LOBBY him and his administration just as we should have been doing in this process all along. If you don't change the way you APPROCH politics NOT JUST AT ELECTION TIME, he is not going into the office with any URGENT remedies to our specific ISSUES as BLACK PEOPLE. I HOPE that we are all clear about this. If we do not inspire ourselves and set examples for our own children (which was never a good reason to choose a presidential candidate) and continue to push the most important issue of this generation which is access to quality education, everybody else is going to continue to pass us up,- yes, even under a “Black” President.
This is all unfortunate. I have been alive long enough to remember Dr. King being boycotted by black leaders during the sixties. They took to the streets to say that we don't need Dr. King's help in our area. And unfortunately the trend continues; black leaders are the first to oppose the first viable black candidate for president. It seems that we are still suffering form the "crawfish" syndrome. I for one am extremely proud of Obama for not kowtowing!
As far as Tavis, I don't give "two shits" about his opinion one way or the other. Obama is running for political office, why should he pander to these self-appointed black leaders? He will be president to all Americans not just Black-Americans. How hard is that to understand? Yes, we are still discriminated against, and yes we have a disproportionately higher unemployment and yes we have issues that are unique to African Americans. But tell me how not supporting Obama helps that? How does supporting Hillary, an extremely divisive figure in our political landscape, helps our cause? Next tell me how 12 percent of the population gets anyone elected to President?
Here is the point. We are no longer in this by ourselves. Many of our issues are the issues that affect other Americans. Healthcare affects all Americans, lack of good jobs affects all Americans and affordable housing affects us all. I have listened to black leaders and watched them sell out over and over again. I have watched them be bought off over and over again. Tavis will have his meeting today...what will be the end results. The SOS; Nothing!
Actually I am glad that Tavis is against Obama because it serves to prove that African American opinion is not monolithic.
Old BLACK MAN
